What does the OneOral Bio Test measure?
The panel includes 17 microbial targets, including bacteria, yeast, and viruses, plus three saliva measurements: pH, buffering capacity, and saliva flow. Together they help your dentist understand your oral environment.
How do I collect my sample?
Use the collection tube in your kit, following the enclosed instructions. Seal the sample and send it back in the prepaid return mailer. The collection can be done at home.
When will I get my results?
Results are typically ready within 7 days of the lab receiving your sample. A licensed dentist reviews your results with you and helps explain the next steps.
Does the test diagnose a disease?
No. The Bio Test describes the microbes and saliva chemistry measured in your sample. It does not diagnose disease, predict future illness, or replace an in-person dental examination.
Is the laboratory certified?
Samples are processed by a CLIA-certified laboratory. The microbial panel uses DNA (PCR) analysis to identify and measure its target organisms.
Do I need a membership or insurance?
No subscription or insurance is required. The Bio Test is $149.99 as a one-time purchase. It is ordered separately from a OneOral membership.
How often should I test?
