Who developed the formulas in the OneOral kit?
The Treatment Rinse, Maintenance Rinse, and Gel 1100 toothpaste are CariFree products. Dr. V Kim Kutsch founded CariFree in 2004, translating his work in dental caries into oral care formulations. OneOral brings these products into a membership with dentist-guided routines and online care.
How are the two rinses different?
Treatment Rinse includes sodium hypochlorite as an antibacterial component. Maintenance Rinse does not. Both contain fluoride, xylitol, and elevated-pH technology. They are alternative rinses, not two steps to combine. Your dentist guides the choice.
Is Toothpaste Pro the same as Gel 1100?
Yes. Toothpaste Pro is OneOral’s name for the CariFree Gel 1100 toothpaste in your kit. Its active ingredient is 0.24% sodium fluoride, providing 1,100 ppm fluoride. It also contains nano-hydroxyapatite, xylitol, and pH-support ingredients.
Can remineralization repair an established cavity?
No. Remineralization means supporting mineral repair in early enamel damage. It does not regrow a missing piece of tooth or replace treatment for an established cavity. A dentist needs to assess decay and recommend appropriate care.
What do the pH numbers describe?
The numbers on this page are approximate product pH values reported by CariFree. They are not a measurement of your mouth, a promised change in your oral pH, or a diagnosis.
