Notice of Privacy Practices
This notice describes how health information about you may be used and disclosed, and how you can get access to this information. Please review it carefully.
Our commitment to your health information
OneOral works with licensed dental providers to deliver care, which means we handle protected health information (PHI). We are committed to protecting that information and complying with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state privacy laws.
How we use and disclose your information
We use your health information to provide and coordinate your care, to process payment for services, and to operate our platform. We do not sell your health information. We only share PHI with the licensed providers involved in your care, with business associates who support our services under written agreements, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
How we safeguard your information
PHI is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis with role-based access control and multi-factor authentication. Telehealth visits are conducted over encrypted, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
Your rights
You have the right to access and request a copy of your health information, to request corrections, to request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures, to receive an accounting of disclosures, and to receive a paper copy of this notice. You may exercise these rights by contacting us.
Business associates
Where third parties process PHI on our behalf (for example, infrastructure, communications, or fulfillment partners), we require them to safeguard your information and use it only for the services they provide to us, under a Business Associate Agreement.
