Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol found in birch and corn. It tastes mildly sweet and is well-tolerated in oral-care products. We use it across the rinses and mints because it pairs naturally with comfortable, fresh-feeling formulations and doesn’t feed the bacteria behind bad breath. Note: xylitol is toxic to dogs, so keep products away from pets.
How is the Maintenance Rinse different from drugstore mouthwash?
Most drugstore mouthwashes use alcohol to create that strong, sharp feeling — many members find it uncomfortable and overly drying. Our Maintenance Rinse skips the alcohol and uses 25% xylitol with an elevated pH instead. It feels gentle every time you swish.
What is nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HAp)?
