Before you begin
- Consult your dentist before starting any whitening treatment, especially if you have sensitive teeth, gum issues, dental work, or other oral health concerns.
- Use only as directed. Each tray is a single dose of 15% hydrogen peroxide gel — one tray, one session, then discard it.
- Stop whitening 7–10 days before any scheduled dental appointment.
- Store trays in a cool place, away from direct heat.
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Brush first, then open one pack
Brush your teeth with Gel 1100 and rinse. Open a single tray pack when you're ready to start — each pack holds one upper tray (marked U) and one lower tray (marked L), already filled with gel. There is nothing to load or measure. - 2
Seat the upper tray
Position the upper tray over your teeth, bite down firmly, then suck against the tray for about two seconds. That draws the tray tight and seats the gel against every surface. - 3
Peel away the outer tray
Pull off the colored outer tray and discard it. The thin white inner tray stays behind, molded to your teeth. Then repeat steps 2 and 3 with the lower tray. - 4
Wear for 15–20 minutes
Leave both inner trays in place for 15 to 20 minutes.- Don't eat, drink, smoke, or use tobacco while the trays are in.
- Never wear the trays while sleeping.
- Some gel may be swallowed during normal use — that's expected. If a large amount is swallowed, drink water and contact your healthcare provider.
- 5
Remove, discard, and brush
Take out both trays and throw them away. These trays are single-use — they are not designed to be refilled or re-worn, so never save one for a second session. Rinse your mouth, then brush with Gel 1100 so the nano-hydroxyapatite goes to work remineralizing enamel between sessions.
After treatment (important)
- Avoid staining liquids for at least 12 hours after each session — coffee, tea, red wine, dark sodas, berries, tomato sauce, and similar items.
- You may eat and drink normally otherwise, but stick to lighter-colored foods and beverages during the whitening period for best results.
- Brush gently after treatment if desired, but wait 30–60 minutes if your teeth feel sensitive.
- Use a desensitizing toothpaste if you experience sensitivity.
Frequency & tips
- Typical regimen: one 15–20 minute session per day for 10 days, or as recommended by your dentist.
- Used as directed, the full cycle goes up to 5 shades. Results vary by individual — consistent use and good oral hygiene improve outcomes.
- Heavily stained smiles may benefit from a maintenance touch-up about 30 days after the cycle.
- If you experience significant sensitivity or irritation, stop use and consult your dentist.
